This soulful title track to Marilyn Martin's second album, which came out in 1988, was never released as a single, but is one of the best songs on the album. Unfortunately, the album did not do well, and Martin never released another one. That's a shame, because she truly is a great singer.

How this song did not become a hit is beyond me.

@ThamMalaysia Actually, I don't think it could become a hit, because AFAIK this song was never even released as a single. :) However, as flaky as mainstream radio is, who knows if it would have done well. I do agree that it *should* have become a hit--and Marilyn Martin should've also had a long, stellar career.

Just ordered this cd on amazon for 15.98 but Night Moves was starting at $75 and going up to $248.can't believe it.

@5050pete You're kidding??? Well, I think this CD is better anyway. On her debut, I only liked "Night Moves" and to a lesser extent "Beauty or the Beast."
