Roland Fantom-G: breaking beats

In this video I'd like to show you how to create breakbeats with the Roland Fantom-G. I take a drum'n'bass loop and manually select several portions of it that get assigned to a sample set on the keyboard. This technique can be applied to any sort of phrase loops to create variations and remixes on the fly.

why are you manually doing this... isn't there an auto-chop feature. ?

I mentioned in the video that yes, you can do automatic chopping, but here I do it manually as I want total control on which piece to select.

You can't move the start/end markers but you can use the mouse to drag the start/end parameter values.
