You need to appreciate the great sportsmenship the Lakers fans gave when the pethetic Queens made their first point. LOL

Wonder who won that game? XD

Talk about shoving it in the Kings faces.......they got a standing ovation for scoring a point. Ha ha ha.

The next morning the headline on the sports page of the now defunct Los Angeles Examiner read, "The Lakers 4-Give and 40-Get". I still have the news paper.

@jabba212 The more things change, the more they remain the same. Another jealous fans who is envious of an iconic sports franchise and its fans. There's a shocker. Stop me if you have not heard that before. Dude, shake yourself. We Laker fans will try very, very hard not to lose any sleep over not being "likeable." The only thing more "pathetic" than reading the rants of another jealous basketball fan is like nothing at all. It must be a real bitch to be jealous and insecure, isn't it?

thanks a lot for posting this, again.

Don't get me wrong, I'm thoroughly enjoying watching this beatdown. But where exactly Eddie Johnson foul anyone on the putback at 2:07? I think the refs were enjoying the tidal wave of points like everyone else.

unbelievable. a time where the lakers where likeable, and their fans ACTUALLY HAD CLASS. laker fans nowadays are fairweather fans, pathetic and classless.
I had no idea they only got their points from the line. NO FIELD GOALS ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

This happened again in 1997 against the Mavs. LA held them to 2 pts in a quarter, both at line. It was a generous whistle at that, right at the end of the quarter. I believe that another team had since tied the record of 2 pts.
