At least when your country calls you to fight against your own people you won't be one of the soldiers obeying those orders. Shit's going down in the US soon now that it's legal for the government to arrest civilians via military. I hope you military guys can band together and protect the constitution and legitimacy of your country against the corporate interests that seem to have it bought and sold. (referring to NDAA signing mostly in case this sounds nuts)

  • punk has died out so hard, I still love punk with all my heart, but when it comes down to it I had to get a job and I joined the marine corps lol its lame as hell and I hate it, cant wait to get out and go back to being a real human again

  • @johndillinger1932 21st Century Breakdown was shit. American idiot was pretty meh. But the rest was... so great. So magnificent. Love it, love it, love it. Good 90s punk.

  • @dirtmerchant1980 haha! totally agree man. Remember Honest Don's Welcome Wagon? Ah, the good old days.

  • @johndillinger1932 yeah. sadly other bands with similar motives have now stopped making music, such as good riddance. :( sad to see. music like this has its place tho, and its times like political, social, or financial unrest that ppl flock to this kind of music and say "wow, yeah, they are right!" then things get a bit better, tehy get a bigger house, they get a better job, they get a nice new pair of shoes, and suddenly they forget all aobut it. sad.

  • @adammurphy if they do, i never see them. there was this fat wreck series, and also one called punkorama put out by epitaph. then again im an old fogie now and dont get off the mall much anymore.
