  • @00Jabberwoofles00 Galician

  • what sign language is that?

  • @itsgoodtoseeme91 Portuguese isn't the mother language of Galician. They're both languages developed from dialects of one mother language which, as you said, is known as Galician-Portuguese (apparently for lack of a better name).

  • That's funny because it sounds just like Spanish to me ._.

  • Muy Lindo......Very beautiful :)

  • holy shit it sounds straight up portuguese with a spanish touch!!!!! i understand it hella!!!

  • Seems to me like Portuguese with a strong Castillian influence in the spoken accent. My second language is Castillian, and I can understand Galician better than Portuguese.

  • @Pianist1232 It's actually extremely similar to Portuguese. In Medieval times it was all one language known as Galician Portuguese, however now the two have more distinct differences... Some linguists consider it to be more of a dialect of Portuguese, while others say it is now its own language. Either way, it is definitely very closely related to its mother language, Portuguese.

Catalan is more based on Vulgar Latin, so not so much....

  • lol portuguese? nah I think it's closer to Spanish. It kind of sound like Catalan.

  • Wow ... é realmente muito similar ao português.
