  • hi can you tell which scales you use to improvise it over (que escala/s usou? the music sheet I have I think is in Dm7 (harmonic minor?) Great job.

  • I think D harmonic minor will work with this tune too, but you need more than just one scale to improvise on it. So,Dm7 => D aeolian (F ionian);

    C#º7 => D harmonic minor (here i play A/C# instead of C#º7 because i think its smoother than the diminished chord).

  • Cm6 or Cm7 => C dorian

    G/B => G mixolydian (C ionian)

    Bbma7 => Bb lydian (F ionian)

    Ebma7 => Eb lydian (Bb ionian)

    Em7b5 => E locrian (F ionian)

    A7 => A mixolydian b6 (D melodic minor)

    Bº7 (again, i play G/B instead) => C harm. minor or B dim. Scale

    Bm7, E7 => B dorian (A ionian)

    So, those are basically the scales i use on this tune!

    I hope it could help someone!
