i think the point was to show the basic steps on how its done. an individual can use these techniques but still use his own creativity to add his own touches to it and make it more suitable to how he pictured the prop in his film

I've seen a few vids of yours and I loved the Assassins Creed and Halo stuff you did.
I have watched this (youtube.com/watch?v=50-sR54UBgY) and I want to make a 'visor' for a costume that looks like that. HOWEVER I want to know if there's another way to make a clear 'visor' without having to make the vacuum thing and that will cost very little. I'd really, REALLY appreciate it if you'd be able to give some info on what to do. Thanks in advance!

Yes, but it will certainly take some time-but honestly most of them only cost 20$, so if you can afford to get the rest of the equipment then you can probably afford the heat gun.
