Brian was a smart cat, more articulate and easier on the ears than the other Stones. He could string together sentences. You can tell from this interview alone that he wouldn't have fit in well with Jagger and Richards.

The interviewer is a complete ass, thru & thru, obviously. & Brian was a shining star -- here i'm referring to his humanity -- a thoroughly good person. The interviewer was far worse off than Helen Keller (deaf, blind & a dumbshit) not to pick up on this & act more respectfully

Jones was the Stones. Need proof? Look at the classics they did while he lived, compared to the bluesy garbage they came up with later. Four guys with talent, and Keith Richards. What else can you say?

Quite a remarkable array of personas were the Rolling Stones. And no less so this Brian Jones. I could just listen to him for hours - were there that much tape of him being interviewed. He mentions ' surreal'. Nothing much was more surreal than himself.
