A short idea I began (never finished) in 1993 with stop-motion animation using a video camera and found props. Lasers were made of red yarn on black string, smoke was cotton balls and flashlights. As shots progressed, FX and compositing were painted frame by frame in ImageFX on an Amiga 2000.

  • Really resourceful and clever. Is this the whole thing, or is there more?

  • Fraid thats all there is. Glad someone is curious to see more. I had a bigger story planned that evolved into something with many elements that turned up in Avatar- mech suits fighting aliens, eco-disruptive military presence on an world that behaves as one big symbiotic organism reacting defensively at the end, I even had the 'touchy' plants and the ground bio-illuminating wherever the characters stepped. But thats what happens when you dont act on ideas. Someone else does them.
