  • They can't use the Word Fuck because it would cost to much. For one time they are going to use the word fuck, they need to pay 1000 Dollars... So they use frak

And the word frak is also in the old series written as ''frack''...

  • even though the battlestar is cleary worn and looks a mess, quite formidable seeing it come about to the baseship.

  • well, clearly you havent spent your time watching the series. if you DID then you'd know exactly WHY they didn't blow up the baseship. Shit, My sister saw this and knew why they didnt shoot at it. (And she hasn't watched a full episode.) Keep your ignorant comments to yourself. :)

  • I love the FTL jumps. It's one of the most fascinating methods of space travel I've seen besides B5's hyperspace jump points.

  • yay woop

  • then you and I are on the same page.

If you read everything that I said originally, you would see where I actually stand.

  • ye but i was sayin about combat landings not if it was on fire or damaged

  • doesn't make sense? wtf?

right, because It's much better to hear a bleeped out f**k every time a character decides to use the word.

It's over used a bit on the show, I'll give you that, but it does have a purpose.

  • Yes, I understand. But you're stating the obvious. If you read my comment, you would see that I emphasized 'In emergency situations'. If a viper is damaged or under fire and is closer to the forward section of the pod, then it would make an approach from that end.

  • simple put if u had vipers enter both sides of the pod at the same time there would be crashes so they would all come the same way

  • Yes the scorching adds character.

  • ok, you just contradicted yourself, because you just said in your first message that they NEVER land from the front of the flight pod

and I'm pretty sure that was to make the movie more time efficient. If they had vipers coming in from every which way, it would take more screen time. So they have them land in an orderly fashion.

look, I didn't say they don't normally approach from aft, it's true that they do, but it's been proven on screen that they can approach from either direction.

  • plus it was the fact her shuttle was facing that way anyway!
