he is in complete control of his ego. His Figaro (Rossini) is amazing...bravo my friend master class. Stand and deliver...

Agreed. He is a very good actor, and a very good singer too.....but struggles when singing low notes and lacks the robustness of Warren or Tibett for dramatic operas. Sorry!

Donizetti, say Bellcanto operas, he is marvelous, even German lied, however when singing heavy roles he lacks the
dramatic colours and it is difficult to
believe him. Maybe when he gets older.....

His voice is forced when singing the low notes, not good for this dramatic and very emotional aria.
he is truely the greatest actor and you are horribly wrong. he can play even heaviest roles perfectly

To me, it's not the voice for Germont, he belts too much, and his timbre has not depth. The same thing that Horne in Aida, for example.
