Any item can be used in construction — the only way that building materials can seem out of place or ridiculous comes from environmental parameters. The previous Strexx Motion Lab videos have used a car building material. An automobile is a very complex structure, a compilation of static components arranged in a manner that can cause incredible motion. The previous motion experiments have created complex structures from complex building components, however, the inevitable question that those experiments pose is: Can structures of equal complexity be created from components that have no where near the same amount of complexity?

Component complexity is determined from the number of particles needed for the completion of that component — components are made of other components. For the next series, traveling from one end of component complexity to the other was done to prove whether or not similar structures to those made with extremely complex components can be constructed with extremely simple components. What was needed was a component that had only one particle. Why not stop with one dissimilarity? The purpose of a car can vary with each person, but the intended purpose is very clear. We need not simply a building component with one particle, but a component that has nothing in common with the intended purpose of a car. There are many, many different items that would fit those parameters, so one was just picked randomly. Starburst.

Yes, Starburst candies are the items that will be used in the construction of this next set of Strexx Motion Lab fractal experiments. The same structures that were constructed with incredibly complex components have now been created with incredibly simple components. With these results, the components of any structure are not important in the design of a structure. Architects and sculptors need to look at every possible item they can to create new and innovate structures.
