Why did Liz care about Zander?

These scenes convinced me that my Liason were in love. I don't give a damn what Jason told Courtney:-) If they would have just gotten together during this time period, I don't think anyone would be questioning their legitimacy as a couple. Everything was there---the buildup, the chemistry, believability, etc. This was the perfect time to cement this union. I don't see how anyone could look at this and come away thinking "just friends". Everything was there but the actual words.

I still don't see it. Wouldn't she have hugged him? Even as she was asking about Zander wouldn't she have said thank you...showed some form of appreciation? She may have loved him as you say, but she didn't show it in this scene. The thing about Liz is she has tunnel vision when it comes to her men. When she wanted Lucky she didn't notice anyone else. When she wanted Jason she shut off her feelings for Lucky. When she was with Zander & Ric she shut off her feelings for Jason. Now she wants Nik

Liz's thoughts are all about Zander. It was the first words out of her mouth basically.  I didn't see any romantic "love" for Jason in this scene..at most they were close friends.

screw zander! he should have died then. if he hadn't slept with liz that night, liason would be together. i love old liason scenes, but sometimes they are the worst, you know? she was so toally going to tell jason she loved him then, and look at poor jason's face when she's talkng to zander. back then she could be such a witch
