Why did the Watchtower put Jehovah in the New Testament?

Have you ever considered that YHWH should be rendered Yahweh and maybe your not even passing on the sacred name of Elohim, El Shadday, El Elyon and numerous other names of God. I am not saying that Jehovah is a mistranslation because I have opened in prayer addressing Jehovah buy no human on earth knows if it is more proper to translate it Jehovah superior to Yahweh. I pray that you will honestly look at these points and have the Almighty in heaven direct your conclusion. Amen

@ejgress36 Yahweh is a Hebrew approximation. Yehowah is probably closer to the original Hebrew. But here's the deal - you and I are communicating in English. No one I know who speaks English uses Hebrew pronunciation for the common Hebrew names such as Jacob, Joseph, Judas, Joshua. Why the inconsistency? Why should we make a big deal out of God's name being pronounced in English according to the traditional way that all Hebrew is pronounced? Is it because deep down you hate God?

I simply am wondering why your so sure that Jehovah is not an Hebew approximation as well. And replacing every one of Gods names with Jehovah which is God's personal name. God has many names in the Old Testament why does your society only render it Jehovah. Jesus Saves. AMen

@ejgress36 I did not say you hated God. I merely posed the question. From my experience those who do not use God's personal name or replace God with his son have a deep seated hatred of God. God has only one personal name - not many. You are merely repeating a lie someone told you. The name is used almost 7,000 times in Scripture. It was originally written as YHWH. You accuse the Jews of being superstitious for not pronouncing his Name. Perhaps they where being humble and respectful, and trying not to desecrate his Name. Who are you to judge? I rather do what they did, instead of using His Name in vain as The JWs do. You speak of the NWT as if it was something so special for the fact of having the the Divine Name in the NT. Well, it is not the only one and is neither consistent as the WT wants us to believe (more on that later).

All of the faithful men of old, from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, to the judges and faithful kings, and certainly all the prophets called upon the personal name of God and spoke in his name as well. The Devil is the one who seeks to hide God's name. Obviously there are many fools today who are more than willing to do the Devil's work.

You say that Jesus refused the superstitious belief of the Jews to refuse to pronounce the tetragrammaton. And you think Jesus although using the Septuagint (Where YHWH isn't written) spoke out YHWH as it should be spoken. If Jesus really did what you think he did, wouldn't the apostles respect Jesus in his habit of speaking and write down the name as he pronounced it? Isn't there another reason than 'superstition of the jews' for all this?

You are still not addressing my questions about your leaderships lack to translate Jehovah Gods other names. Does Jehovah God say to only address him by him Personal Name or does he command a relationship with his Son. Your Society is sidestepping key points to eternal life. Please consider this.
