People saying negative things about "The Secret" have probably not done further research on the concepts that it teaches. Action in the direction of your dreams with the belief in the ability of those actions to produce what you want does not guarantee you from temporary failure, but assures that, with persistence and tenacity, you will receive it.

@kordz78 Don't bother with "The Secret" it's a bunch of people who got rich by telling other people how to get rich and now want to make money from seminars and other crap.
There are much better books; Napoleon Hill -Think and Grow Rich, Joe Karboe- The Lazy Mans way to Riches. Also, anything written by extremely successful people is likely to give away some of these "laws" even if they don't mean to
