Scott Geller MD of Fort Myers Florida uses A LASAG Yag laser is in thermal mode, 1.5 Joules/pulse to treat the trabecular meshwork between the cornea and iris for glaucoma. The view is of the inside anterior eyeball.
I don't think so, first trabeculoplasty is used in open angle glaucoma- in angle closure you can't see the trabeculum in the first place.Another aspect is that trabeculoplasty is ineffective in pediatric patients.
I bought a 3000 LE ND:YAG from ALCON Surgical. What do you think about this laser? Thanks for your video!
