Lesson 34 - This beginner slow blues solo is available in intermediate and advanced difficulty levels.

This lesson is very basic, and is mainly targeted at beginning guitar players. There is very little note bending, and no fast licks. Very simple.

The free version of this lesson shows you the notes to play, but the extended version goes into more detail about how to play each of the licks in this solo.

The extended version can be purchased at http://www.steviesnacks.com, in high-definition, along with tablature.

  • Will you put up the backing track to this.I enjoyed the lesson thank you.

  • @19thSFGA It's on my site for free in the Music -> Free Backing Tracks section.

  • What key is the backing track in ?

  • A flat.

  • Is it absolutely necessary to tune down a half step?

  • For this lesson, since I'm not using any open strings, you can simply move everything you're playing down one fret from where I'm at on the fretboard. However if you're using strings that are .11 or higher, tuning down is a good idea for stress relief on the guitar neck.
