@xxBlackpspxx hah lol, well I cant tell you, I also thought about buying, the Z-5500, cause I was in need of a subwoofer - But I wont do it, I'll look for a home cinema sub.
But return your speakers, they seem broken lol.

@ThePunkfisk Actually in some cases this distortion already appears when the system is at 50% volume and sub at full volume. this flapping noise comes from the main switch. air is flowing through it's gaps so which produces noise. all the reviews of the z5500 on the internet are way too positive imo everyone talks about "great sound quality" while it's actually nothing special. btw my front left speaker is making a weird bzzz noise all the time when the system is turned on

i bought the z5500 2 weeks ago and i must say its the worst piece of shit i have ever bought. sound quality is acceptable but the bass sucks. at full volume (and full sub volume) the sub disorts, bass starts sounding crap, so you have to turn down the volume to like 80%. i listened on full volume 1 time and dat was for 1 minute. now my sub makes flapping noises at Datsik - Jenova project (bass at the beginning only) even at half volume. dont buy this piece of china shit

It distorts because you use software amplification? I never listen on 100%, im not deaf :)

@keldererik I dont use any bass boost/volume boost or whatever. and the z5500 arent that loud that 100% volume is a big deal. it also depends on how big your room is. maybe i got more than just 20 square meters? lmao
