People who think that Henry Rollins is a massively insecure douchebag need to recognize that there are specific reasons that he is a massively insecure douchebag. The guy has things about his past and how he's struggled that he can't talk about and doesn't really want to talk about, but every time he acts like a massively insecure douchebag to somebody, I imagine it's his way of saying, "I starved in a band" or "Joe Cole is dead."
