I joined the 24-Hour-Fitness gym on 06.08.! I highly recomend this for a good distraction from binging/purging habbits, as long as you don't overdue it. Gets blood to the brain gets you pumped for a good eating day. Warning, you may get very hungry because you are burning more calories. So this is a good time to excersise your "eating within moderation". Those that are not to that point of their recovery i would recomend not to join a gym just yet. However those that have already been on the road to recovery, it's a great distraction for breaking those binge/purge habbits!
i walk a few miles a day....
it gets the endorphins (sp) going and my mood just feels so much better.
df gets my mind of wanting to binge...

Also forgot to add, I put a little bit of protein powder in my water, it helps. out because I don't like meat much, and it helps when working out.

Exercise is the best!!!! but of course in moderation as my therapist would tell me. whatever. lol.

I think this is good, especially if you dont overdo this and this doesnt turn into an addiction itself. We all need to find distractions, but in finding distractions we still need to deal with the ED and not let it sit on theback burner only to return stronger later. Stay strong and keep fighting.
