This game is of the Battle Racers genre (Mario Kart-esque games, since I refuse to call them Mario Kart Ripoffs.) This is a cutesy spinoff of another game, and the game also has a few ideas taken from another Nintendo Racing Game, F-Zero. When you ignore some of this, it's actually a pretty decent game, especially if you're into the genre (And don't just bash something cause you think it's a Mario Kart ripoff.) Anyway let's get into the game.

Before that, let me just say that this game is endorsed by Fuji TV. Could someone tell me what SD stands for and where these characters come from, cause I have never seen or heard of any show containing these characters.

Okay, let's get into the game. There are three modes, But I will only be playing 1 of them in the series. Normally, I play as the mouse, but for some reason, I feal like chicken tonight (Lame pun) so I will use the chicken. Now, normally, I play on easy mode, but this time, I think I am ready for hard mode, which is actually alot harder than easy mode. I could beat this first track no problem on easy, but on hard, well, that's a different story. Also, I don't get why the announcers are human. I, personally, have a problem with humans in animal games when they don't belong. ...Then again, I also have a problem with animals in human games when they don't belong. I guess it doesn't matter that much.

Also, watch the video before you scroll down.

... Keep Scrolling.

... Did I fool you with that one song? The song during the race actually doesn't come from this game. Actually the tracks only have music during test drives, not during races. That song actually comes from Asuka 120%, I just use it cause it sounds so good with the stage, infact better than it does in Asuka 120%.

  • It's a surprisingly decent game if you're not one of those biased "MARIO KART RIPOFF" people.

  • One of my favorite SFC games, and so obscure as well. Aside of the announcers, i think the racers are 'toon furry' renditions of some of the participating drivers of season 1994-1995, matching up with the car liveries. Such a weird but original use of licensed characters.

  • Ah, thank you.

  • SD is a drawing style in Japan actually so. This game isn't the only game or anything with a SD label. There is a wikipedia article on it.

Not a joke though. I think it's to appeal to kids. As for the announcers. Not sure why they're in there. But I think that's the Fuji TV commentating team for that year (the guy in the glasses being Masaharu Miyake)

  • ... I'm not sure how that makes sense, but... or is that some sort of joke?

Also, I have made the third video, but I haven't gotten around to uploading it. ...The third stage REALLY looks like a ripoff of F-Zero though with all those blinking lights on the ground.

  • SD usually means "super deformed" I think.
