It's usually said that this is an unreleased song by the Beatles. Or that it is a "Lennon/McCartney" composition ... Not so.
It was Paul McCartney who wrote this song for Cilla Black to sing it and make it hers.
It's a lovely song ... and I think she did it justice ...

It does sound like a Paul song too, strange? None of these groups really made it anywhere noteworthy that I know of. She has a beautiful voice I must add. For the most part they all do great versions of these songs however

I'm not sure how many acts Brian managed...quite a few though! I think several of them perform in "Ferry Cross the Mersey," the great and rare Gerry and the Pacemakers movie! I hope it gets released someday .

You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it...and I agree. Cilla made it her own, just as much as "Step Inside Love." I love her voice...it is otherworldly. :))
