Thursday 8 October, Andrew Lloyd Webber unveils his brand new production LOVE NEVER DIES at a global launch in London. Andrew Lloyd Webbers long awaited new show will have its World Premiere in London at the Adelphi Theatre on Tuesday 9 March 2010 followed by New York on Thursday 11 November and in Australia in 2011.

LOVE NEVER DIES continues the story of The Phantom, who has moved from his lair in the Paris Opera House to haunt the fairgrounds of Coney Island, far across the Atlantic. Set 10 years after the mysterious disappearance of The Phantom from Paris, this show is a rollercoaster ride of obsession and intrigue...in which music and memory can play cruel tricks...and The Phantom sets out to prove that, indeed, LOVE NEVER DIES.

Phantom: Ramin Karimloo
Christine: Sierra Boggess

Song: 'Till I Hear You Sing
Composer: Andrew Lloyd Webber
Lyricist: Glenn Slater

  • I'm having a feeling that this musical won't do well as the First Phantom did. Considering, the econemy is doing poorly at the moment. Also, I don't think I hear the Phantom's voice with Ramin's. Though its beautiful. I just don't think he's a phantom. He's more of a Raoul if you ask me.

  • is it just me or does the mask look like an eyeless angelina jolie...?

  • I understand that people were upset about the whole idea of a sequel to Phantom, but this musical is fantastic and I have very few negative things to say about it. I really, really enjoy and love it.

  • @garethsagara You are quite right. The Phantom and Christine were never in love physically. Their's was a spiritual/artistic love, Christine was pure, and that was what the Phantom loved about her because his soul was so black. So this new story line changes the nature of both characters completely. Which is a shame.

  • I don't think this musical will hold up very well. Phantom could have had a sequel (though it's also perfect without one) but this was not the direction to go. The storyline has corrupted a lot of the characters (such as Christine and Meg) and crosses lines that should never have been crossed. It could be that this is just me being a Phantom fanatic and not being open minded about this but I still feel this sequel shouldn't have been made.

  • This musical won't do well at all. I mean there are most shows that should never have sequals to them and The Phantom of the Opera is one of them IMO.

  • love does die .....

  • @poto94 ok fine, but just change the name of the video aswell
