The Pulaski County Quorum Court held a meeting December 20th at 7pm to discuss the Lake Maumelle Watershed Plan, 11-I-103A. The meeting was supposed to be a public hearing, but the plan had been written long before the public was made aware of it. The Planning Commission had voted to allow the plan to go before the Quorum Court, which is run by the corrupt Buddy Villines.
After efforts to stop the people from speaking, and lots of time wasted with a leftist special intrest group, a JP made a motion to table the Lake Maumelle Watershed Plan until after the US Geological Survey in February. The audience was very supportive of delaying the plan for any reason.
An amendment to remove a previous amendment was ignored. The roll call was done and the Motion to Table was passed. Afterwards, the Occupy Little Rock Group began a "mic check" chant. Conservative Activist have been fighting against the Watershed for years before Ad Busters launched the Occupy Movement
