For five years Gandhi retired from active politics and his passion became the Charkha or spinning wheel. He adopted the spinning wheel as a symbol because he suggested Indians spin their own cloth instead of getting it from the English and felt it could be used to help supplement the slender resources of the poor.

@IamGodnLord who gave you this fantastic theory. If you are a follower of Ambedkar he dnt want reservations for many years how come you guys still want reservations depriving the meritorious education and jobs

While Gandhi was on Hunger Strike to oppose the Dalit demand of "Double Voting Power Right" ,which was brought by The Great Dr.B.R.Ambekar for Dalit from then Ruler to empower the Dalits, M.K.Gandhi had threatened to kill all the Dalit in India, if they don't take their demand back. Gandhi had ordered Congress to kill the Dalit. To save the Dalit from Congress attack ,there was a pact between Dr.B.R.Ambedkar and Gandhi that was called infamous "Pune Pact"
