  • steve do you have to strech before doing cardio or weight lifting?

  • @al14di No. I just do the exercise I plan to start out with easier. Same thing with cardio. I start with a walk then move into a jog.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV Hi Steve, is it essential to do cardio in order to achieve ripped abs? Can't you just create a calorie deficit and get abs from eating less and lifting heavy consistently? Any advice would be great.

  • @elite2291 I answered your question on my 5/29/11 BlogTalkRadio com show. You can listen there or on iTunes. Search Steve Turano. Recent shows can be heard on my site home page at the bottom once they upload. I also upload it to iTunes. You can also listen at GreatFatLossPill com. Click on the On The Air tab at the top.

  • I have a very healthy diet and do cardio cycling at least 4 times a week. I have lost weight and feel good about it, (I'm 158 height and 111 lbs) but I still can't get rid of my tummy :( Should I start doing sit ups and that kind of exercises to burn that fat? or should I loose more weight?

  • @beaktoria Sit ups are great for firming and toning your stomach and you should definitely do them. But they will not burn fat. Fat losss come from creating a calorie deficit by either eating less or doing for cardio like walking or jogging.

  • @Apidium It's normal mate. I'm about the same!

  • A word of note. Just because you can see your abs doesn't mean your fit or strong. And it certainly doesn't mean you have strong abs.

  • so sit ups are no use at all?

  • RIP Steve

  • I'm confused about my body fat percentage, I used an online body fat calculator and it said I had a body fat percentage of 18% i'm not sure if this is very accurate. I'm a 19 year old male, 6ft,170-175lbs and a waist of 34inches, do you think 18% BF is accurate for someone who has a 34inch waist? I would have imagined 15-16% to be my BF. No haters please, honest opinions. Thanks.

  • Probably the most scientificly accurate channel, when it comes to bodybuilding, on youtube. Keep up the GREAT work.

  • can you bulk effectively while maintaining a low body fat %?

  • @al14di i hope you dont stretch before you workout or before any other exercise, first warm up your muscles, do the exercises and then stretch in the end, its when your body is warm. if you stretch up cold, you might get injured on your muscle tissues. for many people who dont know, muscle fibers are easier to extend at higher temperatures, such as any other materials, if you try to extend something thats its cold, it will brake. you get the idea but its just an advice, hope it helps ;)

  • @ClarkyCbruhDontTrip He never said "How to get bigger abs" he just said how to get ABS dickhead
