the question is who is paying for the defined benefits of the CPP?
its all well and good to be fighting for something... but who pays for it.

For every employee in Canada between the ages of 18 and 70, the employer and the employee each pay half of the cost. Because it is mandatory for all, and covers the working lifetime of Canadians, the result is a very large pool of money with relatively low immediate cost to each person.
