it will never happen. one of the most powerful engines of capitalism is mens' financial slavery to women. women are taught to be consumerist, women get all the birth control power which they can sabotage at any time, men have no say it whether a pregnancy should continue, joint custody is rare, judges give outlandish child support. some people believe its a conspiracy theory but the truth is society is engineered in such a way to strengthen capitalism. mens' job is to be the slaves

@signboyy Largely agree. At the very least, forced alimony should be restricted to those rather rare cases where the man unilaterally refuses any contact with his child(ren) or is utterly incapable of functioning as a father. I believe that could one day be a viable compromise.
