Remote control bristlebot made from a broken R/C toy helicopter. It is held together with tiewraps, and took about 10 minutes to build. A tiewrap on the motor gear is held on with a dab of glue, and creates the eccentric vibrating weight that causes the whole thing to move.

I should have included the tail rotor motor too, for additional control.
Maybe you can do better with your own broken R/C toys.

  • place a heavy book on the brush overnight to bend the hairs backward. Then try it again the day after. It will be lightning fast!

  • @wildside126 lol there isnt right and left...

it just vibrates and moves on its own

but he needs a better brush with the "hairs" pointing backwards

  • Thats what happen when you put the motor on the center... put it on the beack of the bot and you'll get better results.
