the story itself is inspiring. forget all about the gun incident, the drama in the locker room, forget all the negative thats in TODAY. were talking about his way to becoming a superstar..short lived but being a great basketball player myself and i feel the exact same way, i think i should change my number to 0 because that line spoke to me "thats what everyone thought of me as is a 0 and because it reminds me to go out and fight everyday".

crazy how this shit happens to most of us. happened to me in high school, coached benched me throughout my hs seasons over 1 shot i missed. only time i seen playing time was when we were down by many or during summer league, i remember everytime i went off for 25+ in each game he actually played me in he always benched me the next game, its like he didnt want me to succeed. now here i am 20 years old and im going this fall to try out for the d-league, lets hope i get somewhere...

lol!! man !! i was in the boat as gilbert!! they didn't let me play , .. i know this is old school but, when i played in the game when it was, students V.S. the teachers.. i showed them all !! that i had talent!! i was the beast player out there! , and i have been the best everytime i play even at my age of 30! .. im not doing that bragging thing, im just saying!
