Why do they make the men of gondor look shit when they fight they are some of the best soilders in the book and in here all you give them is bravery they are skilled as well you make them look weak against orc's who are only strong in numbers nothing else

I wonder why the humans wiches are much better equiped than the orcs have no chance against them. I mean of corse they are much outnumbered, but the humans are also in realtion worse than the orcs.

@nyphix4321 I interpreted it more as there were just way TOO MANY orcs. if you are fighting with a sword there is only so much you can do when outnumbered 100 to one. Not only there looks to be at least 50 orcs PER boat, and there were dozens of boats. In the Two towers Faramir states that they only have 500 guys to spare for Osgiliath, and that was BEFORE the first attack on Osgiliath in The Two Towers. Doubtless Faramir had even less men by the time this attack took place.

Even though this movie was painfully long in the theatres, this scene at the very least should have stayed as it is here. In the movie, the 'lead orc' says "Quiet!" and then two seconds later: "Faster!" Um, hello? Can't do both. With the extra scenes to this it all makes a lot more sense. I have GOT to get the extended versions!!!!
