  • Correction: Ukrainian-made Antonov.

  • @goyherder

You mean some white technicians will fix it up

  • The crazy part is they will fix that plane up and have it flying again.

  • uyu kabila anafanyaka nini mwaile congo?

  • That is not the point...what matters is a plane with passengers had a Fire Engine on standby... and Nairobi, a city of 4 Million does not! Planes/ UNO/JKIO/Wilson have nothing to do with the crucial issue here:- Nairobi City is a bad choice to get caught in a fire!

  • Kenya is full of greedy politicians who likes to grab everything and run! It's not fair to the little ones.

  • Are you guys kidding! these are all United Nations equipment. The entire emergeny rescue team is from the UN...and Kenya has decent fire engines at the airports. It is the city council that is a mess...

  • why the F**K are these guys using that runway for if it was reduced by a third by that darn lava...damn.

Stuff like this make me sick.....Close the runway in that direction and extend it much more on the opposite side. Oh, I forgot this is Africa. They probably have squatters too

  • hahahaha

Goma has a working fire engine....and an EA country with over 200 passats for its third rate politicians can't afford one!

  • At least they have fire fighting equipments because in Kenya we dont have any at the moment, at least in practice because in theory fueling of ghost fire fighting vehicles is still going, on, maintenance money still disbursed monthly and other crappy corruption. We have a big problem in that country!!!

The whole world over awaits with awe the new constitution!
