My friend is getting a white oscar. She wants to put it with a Red Devil. Money and tank size is not an issue for her. How big would the tank need to be? Would they even get along with each other???

@starvald whats a front??

does he ever bother the frontosas? i have a 55 that eventually i'm gonna get down to just my frontosa, 2 jack dempseys, green severum and green terror and I would love to put a oscar in with them, do you think that would be ok if i got the oscar smaller than the rest. so far none of them are that aggressive towards each other.

it's 350 litres or about 100 gallons and it's five food wide. the video is pretty old and this oscar died about a year ago :-( I got a new one, which almost reached the size of the old oscar :-) I changed the diet from bloodworms to dry food.

IS my 70l tank big enough for my oscar that i am getting??

if no other fishes are in the tank, I'd agree to that!

Dont mean to sound ignorant but how do you have other fish in the tank as well as oscars. When I had them I tried introducing other fish an the just ate all of them!

I guess the frontosas are just too big to get eaten by the oscar. I'm not sure if it matters, but he "knows" the fronts since he is a baby, maybe that influences his prey-scheme.
