in kingdom hearts 358/2 Roax start as a new member of organisation 13 and during the game he starts to gain Sora's memories. in kingdom hearts chain of memories Sora enters castle oblivion where his memory is erased along with everyone elses memory of him and as he makes his way up castle oblivion Namine rewrites his memories so that Sora likes her instead of Kiari

ps: this information may not be accurate because I haven't actually played chain of memories.

the other twilight town was more an artificially created world kind of like the tron world. it was used to hold Roxas while DIZ rearranged Sora's memories that Roxas had intercepted back to before Namine messed with them and once that had been done they put the memories back into Sora and also Roxas' memories in that other twilight town, while Roxas went back to organisation 13

@MrbadmanVanko no their are two towns roxas is from the first one we saw but then when roxas "died" or disapeared when he found sora,sora went to the town where roxas wasn't from
