Raven Concealment Systems unveiled their new Vanguard II holster at SHOT Show 2012. The Vanguard II is a minimalist holster that securely holds your pistol tucked inside of your waistband.

@glockfire You must have misunderstood me. If im drawing this gun from concealment, Under stress I have to do an awkward movement to re-holster the pistol. Is there anyway i can quickly and efficiently do that? It seems not. But one would have to try it to be sure.

What're the odds of this fitting a Springfield XD-9? I just got one and its extreeeemely similar to my Glocks' frame shape and size, only a hair narrower at the slide.

That is one cool holster. I don't like how it re holsters, Is there anyway to just slam your pistol in there?

It seems as though an IWB accessory such as this will expose the slide to the body. Add heat and sweat into the mix and you may have comfort issues as well as rust on an already well used Glock slide.

@j4mesde4n First, wear an under garment like a t-shirt. It not only protects the pistol from your skin, but it also make carrying a IWB pistol more comfortable in my experience. You would be hard pressed to get a Glock to rust from skin contact. Even well worn Glocks are still protected by Tenifer. You can't wear Tenifer off unless you use something like a file or sandpaper. Holster wear simply can't damage Tenifer. Tenifer makes the Glock impervious to rust from skin contact.

@j4mesde4n It's durable stuff. Very durable. I went a step further and use a Glock with a FailZero Nickle Boron finish over the Tenifer that's as hard as chrome. With these two treatments applied to my Glocks slide, there's pretty much nothing that can damage it short of me taking tools to it and purposely causing damage. :D
