  • I was lucky enough to be taught under David Miller in my 5th year of high school, getting me my best ever grade. He is a truely inspirational person. I don't think I'd have enjoyed works like The Great Gatsby if it wasn't taught through him. Not only that, the enthusiasm continues extra-curricularly when he took others rock climbing and preparing the school shows. If only you were head master now at St Ninians instead of "Businessman" McLaughlin. All the best and cheers for posting the video.

  • Hey Scot, that was a lovely message. Thank you. I hope life is treating as kindly as you deserve and that you still have little Gatsby in your soul, as we all should ... David

  • Thanks for posting this. I think the Teacher of The Year is a wonderful awards ceremony, and I've been searching for clips of it (the UK version) for a long time now.

If you have any more similiar footage, please post it! :)

  • Hey Gareth, thanks for that. It was indeed a great ceremony; so many generous and creative people, all working for the good of the young! I'll try to post up some further clips from the event for you. All the best.
