I went to the camera shop yesterday and found the Canon 500D on a table, I just had to see how well it could do filming. I also attached a Sigma 30mm lens (later in the movie) and then I had to film my own little baby - the Sigma DP2.

  • hahaha vad förvånad jag blev när det var på svenska ;)

  • :D Kul att kunna förvåna någon!

  • @rytterfalk as Soon as you went outside, all of the cool Depth of Field was gone :\ all looked sharp...like a pocket camera.. :'\ will it always be like that outside shooting?

  • @eladbari That's because of the small aperture needed to shield that strong outdoor light. What you can do, is to add a dark ND filter infront of the lens and woala you will get the same cozy shallow dof feel outdoors as well..

  • I'm seriously in love with Canon 500d. I'm not even kidding.

  • Looks like you could professionally film a TV show with one of these.

  • @rytterfalk cool tip I shouldve known about ND filters, thanx :]

I guess even with these little things-they can get pretty expensive...huh? different qualities, and different stages of ND filtering. How many filters\level of filters do you think you will need-to cover yourself from extreme light situations?

And what kind of lens are ND filters mostly used on? wide angle lenses?

  • @666haloinc666 its all in the lens. trust me

  • @mab1ro i bought my CAMERA FOR $600. It came with a 18-55mm kit lens. there is a newer version of this model out that has an improved shooting mode. but it goes for around $900.

  • Hi There, What is the lens you used at the begining of the movie?

    Cheers
