i think youre totally right as a young female who would like to serve in the army (air assault brig) i have heard the stories of military nco's (at jr college) wich were my instructors and while there are much women in the service here(netherlands) we mostly see the males and once in a while you see them when they achieve to get there red beret but not often and it should change cause like you said they are also deploying as a soldier & a women but mostly a soldier and that must not be forgotten

they need to talk more about women in war most people act like its only men who go to iraq and post videos of guys returning.. whatever happened to reuinions between female soldiers and loved ones or their dog etc?
