Great footage, thanks for uploading, Dynarobin. I lived on Portland for 4 years when I was in the Royal Navy, from 1978 - 83. Saw two great floods and I had a house overlooking Chesil Beach, under the hill above Fortuneswell. This reminds me of really stormy days on the island. I loved Portland, and go there regularly. We always get some Portland dough cake, and never say the forbidden word......r*****s! I suppose I'm a ' Kimberlin' now, but am not too far away to visit.
I have lived here for 34 years and this is one great storm, but not the biggest or most evil (as you may say). However still great. Thanks for uploading.
