Part 64: This is a multi-part blog where I make the scenery on the river scene on my model railroad.

Music Notes: The music on this video was recorded using Sonar Home Studio Ver 6.0. The drums and keyboards were played on an M-Audio Keystation 61 ES and/or sequenced in the MIDI Editor. The bass used is an SX Fretless Jazz Clone Modded with Dimarzio J Pickups.

  • Amazing. Is that amount of water expensive?

  • @jasonandjoesrailway I use envirotex lite 2 part epoxy resin. I got the 32oz kit and that was about 30 US dollars.

  • how did you get the rockwork like that

  • @toma123toma132 Plaster castings arranged in different configurations.

  • did u put foam sheet on your benchwork first ...ir u just put the roadbed and the track on the table??? thank for your help !

  • @HellvisNotDead the roadbed is directly mounted to the plywood. the foam is just built up around it.

  • @thebige61 Hi thanks for you videos there Fantastic and your layout, i am going to be attempting my river next week, have you put a tint of blue in the envirotex? cause the one i have order is envirotex clear high gloss finish. Any help would be very much appreciated.

  • SHOCKING!!!!!!!Can you take me through how you acheived the colour on the rocks?

    Amazing work.

  • I'm guessing you went to the Railroading show at The Eastern States this weekend, judging by this video and your user name

  • This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

  • Did you use their blue dye as well?

  • How did you make the rocks? I notice there are many different videos.. what part number did you make the rocks in?

  • @toma123toma132 toma, as you might gather from the numbered title, Big E put together a whole video blog series on the construction of this riverbed part of his HO layout. If you are interested in such, you should go back and watch the entire series. Not only is it beyond remarkable, it will explain in detail answers to any questions you might have. You will even see him put the rocks in place, stain them etc. Big E is very talented and shows us all many great tips and processes for all this

  • ive learnd a lot......thanks
