I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Sports Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

Sounds gorgeous! Drove a 1972 version but here in the US we only got a carb'ed engine that made less power. It was still faster than my 74 MGBGT though! I miss those days. We had a little British car phenomenon in our neighborhood when I was a teenager. The one I drove wasn't as powerful as yours but still made all the right sounds! Thanks for the memories. I miss my MG.....
Good job to actually see 150BHP out of the ol' 2.5 and at the wheels - even better. Are there any other mods apart from the ram stacks? Cam, modded metering unit etc??

@Adeddy Yes, the engine has been heavily re-worked, new cam, forged pistons, cyl head flowed, exhaust & tubular manifold. Metering unit & distributor have been matched to car.
But importanlty it produces torque over a good range and is great to drive.
