The Microvision came out in 1979-1981. It was mildly successful its first year but soon went under due to poor design and limited games. I own every North American game. The only other game release was Super Block Buster which was released outside of North America. This makes my second complete collection of games, after the Sega 32x.

  • Nice collection. It's great seeing all that old stuff in nice shape. I've still yet to find one of those.

  • @DlNKYDANA If you ever find a loose one, let me know and I'll give you an extra box and manual I have.

  • How long is the battery life

  • @aks47s123 Not exactly sure but I hear that they last quite a while.

  • I had this when it came out, It broke within a week and my Mom took it back to the store. I didn't get another one. good video.

  • I got one of these when they were selling for 9.99 at toys r us probably in 83. it was fun i took it to school and got it confiscated by the teacher lol. Don't know what happened to it. Thanks for sharing yours. When the game boy came out I was snoring because the it had the same looking screen as the microvision.

  • @doubledragonuk I now have the full U.S. game collection, all boxed complete & a boxed complete working 1 battery Microvision + a 1 battery & 2 battery boxed U.S. Microvisions, no foam inerts & screens faults, i am now trying to complete the european collection

  • I've been trying to collect some old consoles and handhelds and this one is definitely rare. I'm still hunting down one for less than 100$

  • i have just started to collect the Microvision this year, i am in the U.K. , so decided to collect the U.S. games first & i have all apart from Baseball & i have the 2 battery & the 1 battery consoles all boxed plus a spare 1 battery unit but all have screen faults, yet my French & U.K. Microvisions both work they are 2 battery versions, i have 3 U.K. boxed games

  • So that makes TWO complete collections of failed systems. It's cool to see ones like that you don't see very often.

  • Your collection is beautiful
