Don't worry. Most Ontario snakes are listed as threatened in some capacity. You may have your wish sooner than you realize.
I agree with you. They are horrible things. But, they taste very good.

What part of Ontario are you in because I live in Niagara and I go herping all the time and I never get GIANT SNAKES like you are so please tell. I loved the video nice snakes :)

Ontario is a huge province and snake distribution is specific to habitat preference. I hate to say it, but if you want to see some bigger snakes, you will have to travel. You may or may not have some rattlesnakes not too far away, though. Just look up distribution maps for the province. It should shed some light on the subject for you.

We like snakes. We held a boa constrictor called Brittany when we were in Calgary and we saw a green one in the grass when we were on holiday in Nova Scotia. We don't have so many snakes at home.
