The song (Golden Earrings) is used in the 1947 film 'Golden Earrings'. The lyrics were by Ray Evans. Paramount got it's number one star and biggest recording star in America at the time, Bing Crosby, to make a record of it. Bing's record sold well, but the big hit version was by Peggy Lee.

redrosebutterfly13 -- Thankyou so much for this. Rita Hayworth is by far the most beautiful woman who has ever walked this earth. I did not know she was Spanish or that she and Ginger Rogers were cousins. How very interesting!

Hi I,m spanish : ) .
And sorry for break the magic but Rita was american not spanish.
Her daddy was. He was from a village of Sevilla (like the Rossini's Barber), and her mommy was irish.
Rita is one of the Goddesses of all-time cinema.
By the way, love the song you put, a very very good choice.

Stunning Rita for ever x )
