  • Hi I,m spanish : ) .

And sorry for break the magic but Rita was american not spanish.

Her daddy was. He was from a village of Sevilla (like the Rossini's Barber), and her mommy was irish.

Rita is one of the Goddesses of all-time cinema.

By the way, love the song you put, a very very good choice.

    *****

    And thanks for share, lady.

  • This is a very beatiful Spanish song about a beautiful Spanish lady, Rita Heyworth. She was such a special lady. I love and miss you Rita! RIP

  • This is a very lovely montage! The song is very intriguing!

  • I love Peggy Lee and I love Rita - great combination!

  • Beautiful and brilliant! Your work is great and the song is very appropriate with pictures. Four, five, six stars.

I hope everything happens well to you.

    Kisses!

  • thank you! I love this song!

  • リタ・ヘイワースの歌、初めて聴きました。

    いいですねぇ。

    ほんと、きれいな方ですね。

  • The song (Golden Earrings) is used in the 1947 film 'Golden Earrings'. The lyrics were by Ray Evans. Paramount got it's number one star and biggest recording star in America at the time, Bing Crosby, to make a record of it. Bing's record sold well, but the big hit version was by Peggy Lee.

  • redrosebutterfly13 -- Thankyou so much for this. Rita Hayworth is by far the most beautiful woman who has ever walked this earth. I did not know she was Spanish or that she and Ginger Rogers were cousins. How very interesting!
