Oh, and by the way, Steve bought the engagement ring for Kayla riiiight before he found out that Jack, his nemesis, was his long lost baby brother (Baby Billy was adopted into the affluent Senator Deveraux family and young Steve was left to grow up in the orphanage--it's complicated). The fact that she finds the ring intended for her after he had painfully pushed her away and towards a dying Billy-Jack makes it an even more significant and glorious moment.

Billy was Steve's brother that got adopted when they were little. He found out that Jack is that brother, but Jack doesn't know it at this point...NOt Billie the woman, btw.
