  • if it was so loved why did not any one try to stop the demolishing? come on houston ur a huge city im more than sure something could of been done

  • do a search for save astroworld on google....

  • last I saw it was a vacant lot.... unless something has started in the last couple of months.

  • Oh hell yeah! You weren't a true Houstonian if you didn't like Astroworld! God, I miss that place. Its a travesty that it closed. So many beloved memories and fun times, happy childhood memories of that place.

  • Can you believe its been 3 years now? And look how valuable that land was. What a waste.

  • Astroworld didn't have famous rides nor the appeal of a six flags magic mountain...all I know is that Astroworld was just your typical theme park nothing spectacular. A place of family gatherings, relaxation and good wholesome fun. It brought smiles to my face and in the end that's all that mattered. I will never forget this place it will always hold a special place in my heart. I love and miss you astroworld and thank you for always bringing me and my family smiles and wonderful memories

  • i'll never forget being eight years old, sick as a dog, and riding Greased lightning with my dad. Good times. Now all thats left is a field. Damn you memory killers.

  • ahh man excalibur was my first ride when i was like 5 =) i remember i tried to stand up because i was so small i could slip right out if i wanted too but my baby sitter freaked out and pushed me back down haha. I miss astroworld so much.. i grew up at that park and loved every ride

  • Six Flags Corp. has become worthless. They did the same thing to us in KY as they did in Houston...closed one of their parks. I refuse to ever visit one of their parks again!

  • omygod you guuysss there going to build a theme park in houston!!!!!!! if you dont believe me search "Earth Quest Adventrues". it looks awesome

  • i was 5 the very last time it closed...im 13 now...my dad works at ozarka water comapny wich is right next to the old lot...i see it all the time and i just wish i could ev seen it one last time...i was to little to ride any rollercoaster so i therefor i hav never gone on a real ride there...ever..

  • Oh God I miss this place! I'm watching several of these videos and I can't help but cry cuz I'll never be able to ride the Serpent twice in a row, feel like I'm going to suffocate on the Looping Starship, or remember to put my head back fast enough so I don't get whiplash on Greezed Lightening ever again. This makes me so sad. Why did those capitalist douchebags have to tear down so many people's childhood?

  • RIP old friend
