Rosslee Construction building with Wienerberger's Porotherm Thermal Clay Blocks

Rosslee Construction Builders from Accrington in Lancashire are building an Eco Classroom at St John Southworth RC Primary School in Nelson. The project has been designed by Campbell Driver Partnership. The new classrooms will be built with Wienerberger's Porotherm Clay blocks. Second Natures Sheeps Wool Thermafleece and Edenbloc recycled carpets will also be used on the project

Throughout the construction process Rosslee Construction builders are very conscious of the environment and their carbon footprint. On site there are separate skips for various types of waste, a water harvesting system for all site water and recycled aggregates are being used. The result of this will help to reduce energy and carbon emissions and therefore make it an extremely sustainable project.
