@nkwosman she never said she composed the song, or wrote the music for the song. She just said she wrote the lyrics. I think she meant to do a cover of the song, the same way Jennifer Lopez did a cover of that brazilian song. I dont think she was claiming the song completely belonged to her, she was just saying that she wrote her cover's lyrics.

When my friend initially told me about this interview I didn't believe it until I saw this video. I used to listen to the original song 10-15 years ago. Was pretty popular in Nigeria, sang by most kids even though it was a Cameroonian song and none understood the lyrics. What a thief for not giving credit to the original people that made the song. Wonder how many more she stole from obscure people.
