Samsung N-130 Netbook Playing MK MKII MKIII UMKIII and Killer Instinct

My new Samsung N-130 playing Mortal Kombat one, two, three, Ultimate MK Three and Killer Instinct.
This is the best I could get them to run. MK and MK II run with minor slowdown and sound glitches but
MK III and UMK III have severe sound glitches but minor slowdown. Killer Instinct has some slowdown
at times making it borderline playable.

So I got them to run by underclocking them until they run at optimal speed but with the side effect of
glitchy sound.

I used "MAME32 plus 0.103u2" on "Windows XP Pro". The Win7 Starter OS it came with couldn't even play Super Mario Bros even when I changed the compatibility for XP. Win7 is not good for netbooks
if you are into emulation.

Here are some pics of my setting for MK II. These settings will work on the other games too
but you have to adjust the clock speed in the game by pressing "~ " without the quotes.
Underclocking the game will make it run quicker but will introduce some graphical and sound
glitches depending on how far down you go. I'd try not to go under 50%. Also, I run my games
with scanlines to get that old school feel and I force the aspect ratio with no stretching
but you can turn those on or off without any worries to the framerate.

@dogking708 That is what my desktop and my desktop replacement are for.

Trying to play modern games on a netbook is dumb. if mame lags with no tweaks what makes you think I can play 3d games.. Sure some games can run but not anywhere near 30fps. Why would anyone want to play under 30fps?

The aspect ratio is off, but for MK it's strange how the characters actually look more normal.

MK look normal because the original resolution

is 400 x 254 "widescreen" . I just dont know why they chose to use the 4:3 ratio when they were made in 16:9?
