Daewon Media (www.daewonmedia.com) presented its Action Comedy 'GON' at MIPCOM 2010.
GON
In production / Action Comedy / 52eps x 11min
In the deep wild, a place where humans aren't relevant, a timeless place where animals do what animals do; following their instinct, nature and appetite in a balanced network. And comes 'GON', a creature new to the world, with never been seen power and attitude combined with HUGE appetite but a size to laugh at. With GON's own, and, ONLY its own way of life, GON plows through the day with 3 goals; SLEEP, EAT, and PLAY.
i love GON!

@abrahamWCE Who cares if they put in a South Korean element to the show. Aside from the general "love of nature and animals" there is nothing inherently JAPANESE about Gon. Gon is just plain "awesome" and is material that can be loved by anyone. I strongly doubt they can make Gon really any less Japanese or more Korean because Gon will be GON as long as they stick to his personality traits properly and stay faithful to the original material. Who know why they didnt go with Toei.

@sidjtd but why decided to ask for a south korean company to do Gon instead of a japanese one?
with many companies like Toei Animation, Madhouse, Studio Pierrot, Sunrise, Kyoto Animation and Tatsunoko Gon should have enough reasons to be produced in house
I fear that Daewon Media put south korean elements on this show
I say this because with Pucca TV series, Studio B put canadian humour and messed up with Doga´s gender
